Establishment of Darul Aytam
Darul Aytam (House of Orphans) was established in 2011 by the Office of Grand Ayatollah Hosseini Nassab. Also, the Foundation of Qasem ibn Al-Hassan was founded in Mehriz (Iran) in order to support the orphans in the region.

New place of Imam Mahdi Islamic Center
31 years ago on November 4, 1979, the first Shi'a Centre in Toronto was stablished at bayview Avenue.
On November 5, 2010, the property was sold to Imam Mahdi Center (Mahdia). This was great news for the Iranian community which had been utilizing the centre for over a year.

In a meeting with Dr. Youssef Mroueh [Mathematician, Scientist, and Researcher] and Mr. Adnan Nouredeen, Ayatollah Hosseini Nassab discussed about the role of astronomy and mathematics in case of moonlighting according to Islamic jurisprudence. Dr. Mroueh is one of the great Muslim scientists in Canada. He mentioned his viewpoints about this issue in detail. |
